IDAK Career Match

The IDAK Career Match Assessment System takes your interests, values and natural talents and matches them to over 90,000 career options.

IDAK Career Match is a premier assessment and career matching instrument. It has been recognized as the industry’s most comprehensive and in-depth system. Career Match evaluates aptitudes in three distinct areas; interests, values and natural talents. Most other systems evaluate on only one or two of these aptitude categories. These aptitudes are then cross-matched against more than 90,000 career options. The top ten matches are featured, including organization descriptions as well as recommended job titles within those organizations. The results are pre-coded to facilitate a link to an exhaustive list of compatible names of companies and organizations in your city. This data is updated on a weekly basis.

Dr. Boyd is one of only 12 preferred counselors in the USA selected by the IDAK founder to administer this assessment.

Spiritual Intelligence

Spiritual Intelligence Assessment measures multi-faceted aspects of spiritual dimensions within the human spirit so that specific areas for faith development, spiritual growth, prayer styles, and dimensions of discernment can be identified. The results of the assessment are interpreted into the spiritual direction and formation process.

Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence is an assessment measurement that is taken to measure multiple emotional and behavioral responses that individuals do when they interact with other people within different social settings such as: work, personal life, and home life.

The higher a person’s score for emotional intelligence indicates a higher level of functioning within these different settings. The lower levels that are measured within the emotional intelligence assessment will determine what areas need to be focused on in order to work on bringing those levels up to increase emotional responses and behaviors at a higher level for both personal and professional life.

Current research shows that emotional intelligence is a higher predictor of success than IQ.

Neurotransmitter Testing

Neurotransmitter testing is a lab test that is sent off to a company where your neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and a number of others are measured. This helps determine what needs to be supported, if any of the neurotransmitters are low or high. From this point the laboratory gives recommendations so that treatment can occur based on what type of levels the neurotransmitters may or may not need to be at. This process helps relieve or repair symptoms of anxiety, depression, focusing issues, over excitability, lack of energy or fatigue.

Couple Assessment Process

Couple’s Assessment is a 3-phase process that begins by taking 3 assessment instruments. After taking the assessments, phase 1 begins and is one session that works on communication as it relates to your personality, similarities, and differences. Next is phase 2, in which the couple has individual sessions to work on the parts of their personality that interfere with their spousal relationship. The last step is phase 3, where as a couple communication occurs with each other on what pattern was identified in phase 2 that is interfering in the relationship. The couple will work on being able to choose individually how to stay out of patterns that injure one another. Phase 3 sessions continue with identifying and repairing low intimacy areas where specific work is needed to repair the relationship. This process is followed through phase 3 until the low intimacy areas have been repaired.

Based on experience with couples over the last 25 years, the couples that complete the process through phase 3 restore their ability to communicate and repair conflict areas so that they can experience intimacy, fondness and closeness.
